2007: Start work as a consultant for Stipo. Thanks to my work for Stipo, I'm back in Enschede 15 years later! This time as a knowledge broker with the South district, a challenging assignment in which I encourage all sorts of knowledge exchanges.
2006: Worked as a researcher in a multidisciplinary team with an architect firm, the Architekten Cie, Where I acquired experience with consultancy and research on projects in the area of living conditions and resident involvement.
2005: A Humanism minor because of my interest in philosophy, communications and personal development.
2004: For my graduation projects covering a local exchange project, I went looking for the asylum-seekers. It was very special to pick up an insight into a world where life is totally different than in ours.
2003: As a student-assistant, a mentor to first-year students, and a member of the committee of the faculty association, I also learnt about different sides of the university.
2000: Social and cultural studies at the Free University of Amsterdam. Social Issues and Policy was a subject that taught me to look at developments in society from different points of view.
1998: My first job: waitress in a Chinese restaurant. Followed by part-time jobs in administration, catering and home care.
1993: Moved to Enschede where I went on to secondary education.
1982: Born in Utrecht.
