2011
I become involved in education through a research on attainability at an integral children's centre: a new concept which combines learning, playing and upbringing. Besides this, we are also busy connecting the Housing Associations in our network in order to explore the challenges they face and the expected roles these corporations will take on in the future.
2010
The implementation programme in the Saendelft neighbourhood in Zaanstad is continued. We develop a concept for non-profit property. A former farm is transformed into a multifunctional complex that proves to be of great value to the neighbourhood. In Heerlen we take on a similar project to form an implementation programme for the Hoensbroek neighbourhood.
For the Binnenmaas Municipality, I contribute to writing a collaborative European application for a project on biodiversity and green/blue infrastructure. I also contribute to the final programme of the expert team for the ‘Wijk van je Leven'. Besides this, I am involved in a unique project on co-working in the Hague: a real working city.
2008-2009
In Enschede, I worked on the ‘Gebiedswinkel' (urban shop) with various knowledge institutes and students. I also supported the trustee officers in a collaborative trajectory involving various subject fields on living, health and care in the Hoeksche Waard. I also organized various day programmes for inspiration sessions, including (amongst others): Stadslente, Initiatievenmakelaars and Wijkweb Geuzenveld-Slotermeer. For the Waterweg Wonen Housing Association, we developed a strategic direction plan (by means of a work session) for the project ‘Thuis in de Westwijk' (‘At home in the West district').
Besides this, I gradually take on a much more active role in Stipo training sessions. I also form part of the Municipal of Zaanstad project team, for which we are developing a social neighbourhood vision and implementation programme for the Vinex neighbourhood Saendelft.
