The European New Towns Platform ENTP recently followed Stipo's advice and founded Communities of Practice on eight sub-topics. These CoP's aim to bring about a more specific exchange of information and knowledge.
COP-training New Towns
On 21 April 2006, Stipo has set up a training for CoP leaders and participants on the preconditions of successful CoP's. ENTP chair Almere is responsible for the organisation of the day.
Guest speakers are:
- Klaas Kuitenbrouwer of MediaMatic, with wide experience in setting up digital CoP's.
- Jeroen Laven, one of the founders of the international network ErasmusPC which, with participants from eleven countries, investigates the influence of culture on urban development.
